Wineland Dressings was founded in 2000 by Peter & Valencia Young. Peter, who is the Executive Chef at Hillside Estate Winery in Penticton, was continually being asked by restaurant clientele if they could buy the salad dressings served in the Barrel Room Bistro. A small trial batch of the Roast Garlic Balsamic Vinaigrette was produced and bottled. This trial batch of dressing sold out very quickly. Wineland Dressings was born.
The successful response of the Roast Garlic Balsamic Vinaigrette encouraged wineland Dressings to create their second masterpiece, the Raspberry and Black Pepper Vinaigrette. Again the response was phenomenal. A third flavor, the Cilantro and Lime Vinaigrette, was introduced and received with the same success.
Executive Chef Peter, of Wineland Dressings, notes that, "Our salad dressings are hand made in small batches from the finest available ingredients, locally sourced where possible, and to the highest standards."
